KidZone
is our club for school years 3-6 (juniors - approx 7-11 yr olds) . It runs on alternate Fridays during term time and is held in Hurdsfield School, Hulley Road from 6 – 7.30pm.
The aim of KidZone is to have lots of fun and to let the children know about the love of God.
The small group discussion time will continue and so will the Prayer Shack, but there are some new games for children who bring a friend and for the best completed activity sheets.
The evenings also include other various activities: sticky, messy games involving marshmallows and chocolate, jelly and hula hoops, all combined with lots of noisy singing. Then there is more chocolate, more singing, bible stories and short films, and prizes. The weeks when there is no KidZone there is an activity sheet to do for the next KidZone.
KidZone attracts about 60 children, some who have attended regularly for several years, but we are always pleased to see new faces!
