In April, May and June we benefited from some wonderful training seminars, provided by the Hopeful Activists. We feel challenged, centred, refreshed.
In March we picked up the Connected Church relationship between HTH and the Diocese of Niassa in Mozambique (via Tearfund). We aim to make this a rich relationship, with plenty of interaction.
We're also interested in any of our HTH family who have links with people in the poorer countries of the world; and anyone with an interest in God’s heart of compassion and justice. Jesus said 'The Spirit of the Lord is on me ... to preach good news to the poor ... to release the oppressed ... to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour' (Luke 4:18-19).
Every week we have 45 minutes of whatever justice activities we have ongoing, and 45 minutes on the HTH home group material, with time left for prayer and chat.
Since we meet by Zoom every Friday at 8:00 pm we can accommodate anyone with a phone or computer who wants to join us at that time. To find out more, please contact Jenny V (see the church directory) or through the church office.
